Edomae Kisen original Mifune seal
An ukiyo-e-style design featuring the hull of a houseboat, which stands out in Edomae Kisen's characteristic yellow and red colors.
The scenery is inspired by the Edo period.
The Mifune seal uses a type of Japanese paper called Hosho-shi. Enjoy the feel of luxurious Japanese paper.
《What is Mifune Seal?》
It is a ship stamp that is collected throughout Japan with the aim of promoting the use of the passenger ship and sightseeing ship industry in response to travel demand and revitalizing the economy of departure and arrival destinations.
As a ship version of the goshuin stamps that can be collected while visiting shrines and temples, each company issues prints, stamps, and handwritten stamps for each ship and route, and sells them at ports and onboard ships.
Users (passengers and visitors to the port) pay the issuance fee (charged) for Mifune seals, collect them in a ship seal book, and enjoy a never-before-seen trip to ships around Japan.
In order to honor those who have visited many regions and participating companies, the secretariat has established the title ``Mifune Seal Master System,'' and if a set number of Mifune Seals are collected, certificates such as ``Chief Officer'' or ``Captain'' will be issued to applicants for a fee.
*The "Mifune Seir Meguri Project" is an official project of the Japan Passenger Ship Association.
